BUCKHANNON — The Upshur County Parish House is providing Summer Break Food Bags to students in Upshur County until this Friday, June 21. This community initiative aims to ensure that local students have access to nutritious meals during the summer break. The bags can be picked up between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at 68 College Ave., Buckhannon, WV.
Each food bag contains a variety of items, from canned vegetables to juice boxes, peanut butter and an assortment of snacks. The organization emphasizes that the food bags are available to any student in Upshur County, ensuring no child goes hungry during the summer months.
