The Upshur County FFA Chapter is proud to announce that Agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, Mrs. Jessica Snyder, has been awarded the Honorary State FFA Degree during the 97th West Virginia State FFA Convention. This award is given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to agriculture education and the FFA mission.

Mrs. Snyder’s guidance reaches far beyond the classroom. She is not only a talented educator, but also a dedicated mentor, role model, and advocate for her students. Her love for agriculture is equally as strong as her care and commitment to every student, as she consistently goes above and beyond to provide opportunities for growth, leadership and skill building.

With her support, countless FFA members have succeeded in competitions, earned next level honors within FFA, and discovered their own potential as leaders in their community. Her leadership style is rooted in kindness, dedication, and genuine belief in the abilities of her students.

“Earning my FFA Honorary State Degree is a proud milestone in my career, but I’m just as proud when I see my students recognized for their own achievements,” Snyder said, “Their success reflects the hard work and dedication we share as a chapter.”

The Honorary State Degree is proof of Mrs. Snyder’s years of service, commitment to the agriculture community, and the deep impact she has made in the lives of students. Upshur County FFA is honored to celebrate this achievement and proud to have such an inspiring, selfless leader at the heart of its chapter.
