Upshur Health Department to begin offering series of free Naloxone trainings May 2

BUCKHANNON — The Upshur-Buckhannon Health Department will begin offering free once-a-month Naloxone trainings, with the first scheduled for 5 p.m. May 2 at the health department.

This training teaches participants how to effectively utilize Naloxone, an opioid antagonist, to rapidly reverse opioid overdoses.

This training is free, but seating is limited, so please call 304-472-2810 to reserve your spot or if you have questions. You can keep up-to-date with happenings at the health department on their Facebook page.
