TENNERTON – UniFirst Corporation had a big week in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League.
Already residing in first place, UniFirst Corporation extended their lead after a huge 21-12 ½ victory over Lisa Cain Edward Jones in a battle of the last week’s top two teams. They now have 76 ½ points.
Lisa Cain Edward Jones dropped to third place with 67 ½ points.
High Point Construction moved into second place with a 19 ½-14 win over Baker Tilly. They now have 73 points.
Sam’s Pizza remained in fourth place with a 17-16 victory over Hank Ellis Insurance with 67 points.
In the other two matches of the week, First Community Bank and Custom Cabinets tied at 16-16 and Feola’s Flowers downed Highland Landscaping by a 17 ½-16 ½ score.
Jerry Cochran of Baker Tilley and Doug Garrett of UniFirst Corporation earned Low Actual honors with 38s and Cochran won Low Net honors with a 30.
