Twila Darlene Edgell

Twila Darlene Edgell, age 73, of Buckhannon, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

She was born October 2, 1951, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late John and Julia “Judy” Gillespie Bender.

She would always try to help a person in need. Twila lived her life to the fullest and her family was everything to her. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, camping – especially at Bulltown – painting, and most of all spending time with her family.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know her.

Friends will be received Monday, February 17, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at The Mountain Church of God Church on Thurman Ave in Buckhannon. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM at the church with Bishop Frank Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
