Timothy Dean Boyce

Timothy Dean Boyce, 66, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, September 10, 2022, at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

He was born October 12, 1955, in Bluefield, WV, a son of the late King V. and Reta C. Robinson Boyce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Boyce; one infant sister, Judy Boyce and two sisters, Dolores Burton and Nancy Boyce.

He is survived by two brothers, James Boyce of Buckhannon and King Boyce, Jr. and wife Barbara of Tazwell, VA; nieces and nephews, Cassie, Amy, Jenny and Matthew; close friends, Lori Johnson, Daniel Ice, Tracy Riffle, Timothy Beam and Ken Johnson; his church family and friends and his beloved dog Tipper.

Mr. Boyce was a healthcare assistant at Holbrook Healthcare Center and a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Buckhannon. He was an avid mountaineer fan who enjoyed watching football and basketball games. When he wasn’t rooting for the mountaineers, he was cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. During his high school days at Webster County High School, he was a member of the band and several other organizations.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM with Pastor J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton, WV.
