Timothy Patton Gower

Timothy Patton Gower, age 61, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, October 20, 2025, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.

He was born October 9, 1964, in Buckhannon, a son of Dale Patton and Evelyn Perry Gower of Buckhannon who survive.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Simon Gower of FL and Steven Gower and wife Carly of GA; twin grandsons, Maddox and Maverick Gower of GA; several uncles and aunts and many cousins whom he enjoyed growing up with.

Tim graduated from Buckhannon-Upshur High School in 1982 and played varsity Basketball. After high school, he moved to Florida and worked in construction for several years. He returned to his home in Buckhannon due to an illness.

Tim loved his family, fishing (both saltwater and freshwater), and spending time with his grandsons. In honoring Tim’s wishes, he will be cremated.

Friends will be received for a memorial gathering Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3PM with Mark Price officiating.
