This week’s Hank Ellis All-Stars: Isabella Bowers and Joey Nolte

BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another fall season of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week, we will select a male and female athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, cross country course, volleyball court, or golf course.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Oct. 13 – Oct. 19 are  Isabella Bowers and Joey Nolte.

Bowers is a sophomore on the Lady Buc cross-country team. At the Big 10 Conference Championships, she earned Second Team All-Conference honors after placing 15th with a time of 22:03.8.

Nolte is a senior on the Buccaneer cross-country team. He finished seventh at the Big 10 Conference Championships with a time of 17:14.5 He earned First Team All-Conference honors.

Congratulations to Bowers and Nolte as our weekly winners of the Hank Ellis All-Stars honor.
