This week’s Hank Ellis All-Stars: Sidney Hollen and Brady Hommema

BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another fall season of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week, we will select a male and female athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, cross country course, volleyball court or golf course.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Sept. 1 – Sept. 7 are Sidney Hollen and Brady Hommema

Hollen is a senior on the Lady Buc soccer team. She tallied four goals last week: a hat trick in a 5-1 road win over Preston and a goal in an 8-1 victory over the Philip Barbour Colts.

Hommema is a junior on the Buccaneer soccer team. From his center back position, he was a major part of two shutout wins last week (4-0 over Philip Barbour and 2-0 over Preston) and scored two goals in the home win over Philip Barbour.

Congratulations Hollen and Hommema as our weekly winners of the Hank Ellis All-Stars honor.
