This week’s Hank Ellis All-Stars: Ryan Kelley and Abby Hurst

BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another edition of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week we will select a male and female athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, volleyball court, golf course or the cross-country course.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Oct. 23 – Oct. 29 are Ryan Kelley and Abby Hurst.

Kelley is a senior offensive/defensive lineman for the Buccaneer football team. He graded out of the Preston game as the top offensive lineman for the Bucs as the offense ran for 171 yards and threw for another 72.

Hurst is a senior on the Lady Buc volleyball team. In her last five games, Hurst has 20 kills and is hitting +113%, with three aces, four blocks, three assists and 55 digs. The Lady Bucs will begin sectional play Tuesday against Bridgeport in Bridgeport.

Congratulations to Kelley and Hurst as our weekly winners of the Hank Ellis All-Stars honor.
