This week’s Hank Ellis All-Stars: Parker Lockwood and Samantha Shreve

BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another season of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week, we will select a male and female athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, cross country course, volleyball court or golf course.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Sept. 23 – Sept. 29 are Parker Lockwood and Samantha Shreve.

Lockwood is a senior on the Buccaneer golf team. In the Big 10 Conference championship, he shot a 91. He also aided the Bucs to a second-place finish in the Route 33 Cup against Elkins and Lewis County.

Shreve is a senior on the Lady Buc cross country team. She defeated 74 other runners in the Forest Festival Invitational last Saturday in convincing fashion. She won the race with a time of 21:00, a full minute ahead of the second-place runner.

Congratulations to Lockwood and Shreve as our weekly winners of the Hank Ellis All-Stars honor.
