The Arts Center of Randolph County seeks artists to join Art Education team

ELKINS — The Arts Center of Randolph County is seeking passionate and motivated artists to join the Art Education team and teach children, teen, and/or adult classes available at their in-person spaces in Elkins!

The Arts Center classrooms are the ideal place to instruct art and engage the community. This is an opportunity to create a class that is tailored to an instructor’s needs. Classes and workshops are what artists make them. Fun is the biggest requirement!

Classes and workshops in any of the following mediums: pottery, ceramics, stained glass, fused glass, baskets, painting (watercolors, acrylic, oils), mixed media, and other nontraditional art forms.

The Arts Center advocates for a greater understanding of the visual arts through the promotion of art education, exhibition, and community engagement.

Perks for the Art Instructors include space on the online Artist Registry, flexible schedule, a supplemental income, and access to other art classes offered at TAC!

If you are interested in joining the TAC team as an Art Instructor, please submit your resume and/or CV, two references, and a simple letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are interested in this position, along with some available times that you could meet for an interview.
