BUCKHANNON – The Buckhannon Sewer Department will be closing South Florida Street from East Victoria Street to Hart Street beginning Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, through Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020. 

Thank you for your patience while we perform maintenance on our sewer system infrastructure. 

The Buckhannon Sewer Department, led by Bryan “Buck” Samples, operates the Sam Ludlow Sewer Plant, 16 pump stations, and 54 miles of sewage collection and transmission infrastructure. The Buckhannon Sewer Department provides sanitary sewer service to 3,200 Buckhannon customers and another 700 customers in the Tennerton Public Service District.
