Stonewall Resort, Vintage Theatre team up for Jan. 11 murder mystery three-course dinner event

Weston, W.Va. – Stonewall Resort and Clarksburg’s Vintage Theatre Company have teamed up to host a fun and interactive 1920’s-themed dinner theater event on Saturday, January 11 in the ballroom at Stonewall Resort.

Two performances, one at 6:15 p.m. and one at 7:15 p.m., will be offered. The event is part of Stonewall Resort’s Winter Wanderlust event series.

“Featuring a three-course dinner and evening of entertainment, our Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre events are very popular,” said Andre’ D’ Amour, Stonewall Resort General Manager. “This event is no different as the Vintage Theatre performs a 1920s Murder Mystery ‘whodunit’ entitled, Dead Off The Press. Gather your friends and find out how much has changed in the past 100 years!”

The event will begin with a three-course dinner, prepared by the resort’s award-winning culinary team. The menu includes warm spinach and applewood smoked bacon salad to include baby spinach, smoked bacon, pickled red onions, oranges, shaved fennel and a Champagne honey vinaigrette; Sassafras braised short ribs with honey bourbon heirloom carrots, roasted garlic and herb mashed potatoes, and Sassafras demi; and, Huckleberry Cheesecake for dessert.

A cash bar will be available, and each participant will receive two complimentary drink tickets.

Event packages start at $239 per couple and include overnight lakeside accommodations in Stonewall Resort’s recently renovated Adirondack-style lodge, a spectacular three-course dinner theatre event and two evening drink tickets per person.
