Stonewall Resort to host ribbon cutting for new mountain bike, e-bike shop and rental facility

Weston, W.Va. – Stonewall Resort will host a ribbon cutting event at Noon on Thursday (May 26th) at the Division of Natural Resources Office in the Roanoke Activity Plaza (near the Marina) to announce and welcome Fat Tire Cycle & Sport to the resort and the community. Local officials and media are encouraged to attend.

“Stonewall Resort has partnered with Fat Tire Cycle & Sport to offer day visitors and overnight guests access to the area’s largest selection of mountain bikes, e-bikes and more from brands such as Trek, Surly and Fission,” said Andre’ D’Amour, general manager for Stonewall Resort. “Whether you’re looking for a high-end mountain bike, you prefer to cruise around on a highly popular e-bike, or your little one would like to try a starter bike, Fat Tire has it all and the resort and State Park property offer the perfect setting for all styles of riding.”

D’Amour said Fat Tire Cycle will offer a host of mountain bikes and E-Bikes, to include a variety of brands such as Marlin, Pre Caliber, Roscoe, Wahoo, Pro Caliber, Fuel EX, Remedy, Verve, Dual Sport, Electra Cruiser single speed, Trek, FX 2. Bikes will be available for rental by resort guests and purchase for those interested. The shop will also offer a selection of cycling specific shoes, gloves, helmets and other products.

Bikes will be available for rental spring through fall by reservation or by just visiting the store.
