WESTON, W.Va. — Stonewall Resort will host its annual Memorial Weekend fireworks display over the lake at dark Sunday, May 24.
The event is free and open to the public. Both day and overnight guests have access to a wide variety of resort activities and amenities throughout the weekend.
“We pride ourselves in putting on a top-notch fireworks display in celebration of Memorial Day and to honor the men and women who have served and are serving our country,” said Andre’ D’Amour, resort general manager. “Memorial weekend is the perfect time to acknowledge our fallen heroes as well as the start of summer.”
D’Amour said the resort will offer a variety of family-friendly lawn games and other activities from Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24. Live music will be provided each evening on the Adler Patio with performances by Scott Honaker on Friday, Chris Metheney on Saturday and Alex O’Neal on Sunday. A detailed list of the activity schedule can be found on the resort’s calendar of events page.
