St. Joseph’s Hospital welcomes first baby of the new year, Birdy Faye Schuler, on Jan. 1, 2023

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — St. Joseph’s Hospital welcomed Birdy Faye Schuler as the First Baby of the New Year.

Born to proud parents Sonny Nicole and Jonathan Houston Schuler of Elkins, West Virginia, she was born at 9:09 pm on January 1, 2023. She was delivered by Dr. Peter Power and weighed 7 pounds, 9.8 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Her maternal grandparents are Gina and Robbie Reckart of Beverly, West Virginia. Her paternal grandparents are Carol and Tom Schuler of Elkins, West Virginia.
