BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – St. Joseph’s Hospital is saying a special thank you to their medical assistants during Medical Assistants Recognition Week, October 16-22.

The American Association of Medical Assistants has labeled this year’s theme as “Medical Assistants are Magic” because Medical Assistants Give Incredible Care.  These professionals are true partners in healthcare, performing a wide range of both administrative and clinical roles with skill, dedication, and loyalty. They promote and maintain positive relationships between patients and physicians and make a generous contribution to the quality of healthcare.
