St. Joseph’s Hospital recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon recognized Breast Cancer Awareness month by encouraging staff to wear pink on October 15.   This is part of an ongoing effort to support awareness of and education about breast cancer in women.

St. Joseph’s Hospital is dedicated to empowering women to take charge of their own breast health. Taking steps such as monthly breast exams and annual mammograms are key to detecting and treating breast cancer in its earliest stages.

Staff gathered outside the main entrance for a group photograph to show their support of the national Breast Cancer Awareness month.
