BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Wesleyan softball team remained third in this week’s Atlantic Regional Ranking, the NCAA announced. This is the final ranking before the selection show on May 8.

The Lady Bobcats closed out the regular season (43-12, 25-7 MEC) and will begin postseason play Friday against Frostburg State in the First Round of the MEC Tournament. Atlantic Regional foes East Stroudsburg and West Chester were both upset on the first day of the PSAC Tournament.
