TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur softball Lady Bucs continue to move up in the latest MetroNews rankings.
The softball poll is voted upon by 12 coaches across the state of West Virginia.
The Lady Bucs moved up one spot in the week four rankings to fourth this week with 73 points.
Cabell Midland still sits atop of the poll garnering all 12 first place votes with 120 points.
University is second with 108 points.
Buckhannon-Upshur baseball dropped out of the top 10 this week but are still receiving votes. After checking in ninth last week, they received six votes this week landing in 11th place.
Morgantown took over first place from Jefferson with seven first-place votes with 96 points while Jefferson dropped to second with the other three first-place votes with 92 points.
The baseball poll is voted upon by a panel of 10 radio broadcasters and sports writers across West Virginia.
