Soccer Little Lady Bucs earn 4-4 tie with Lincoln

SHINNSTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School Little Lady Bucs earned a hard-fought 4-4 tie on the road against Lincoln Wednesday evening.

The Little Lady Bucs trailed 2-0 at the half, but behind two second half goals from Brogan Tenney and goals from Isabella Nottingham and Lily Rice they were able to secure the tie.

Nottingham played in net in the first half for the Little Lady Bucs and made five saves while Hannah Kelley played the second half and turned away nine shots.

The tie left the Little Lady Bucs with a 3-4-2 mark.

They will be back in action Saturday at Washington Irving with an 11:30 a.m. start.
