Soccer Little Bucs win two against East Fairmont and Barbour County

TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School Little Buccaneer soccer team had a good week last week with a pair of victories over East Fairmont and Barbour County.

In a home game with East Fairmont, the Little Bucs led by a 3-1 score at the half and went on for a 5-2 win.

Dominic Figueroa paced the B-UMS offense with three goals while Ayden Travise and HaydenFeather each had one.

B-UMS keeper Landon Wright made five saves.

Against Barbour County on the road, the Little Bucs grabbed a 2-0 lead at the break and won a 4-1 decision.

Travise had two goals while Brody Wright and Figueroa each had one.

Landon Wright made five saves in the net for the Little Bucs.

The two wins lifted the record of Amy Travise’s team to 3-1-1 on the year.

They will be back in action Wednesday at Mountaineer Middle with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m.
