TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School soccer teams lost a pair of games at home to West Fairmont on Monday.

The Little Lady Bucs dropped a physical and hard-fought 5-2 decision while the Little Bucs lost a nail-biter, 3-2.

In the girls game, the Little Lady Bucs trailed 4-0 at the half. Isabella Nottingham scored a penalty kick and had a goal in the second half for B-UMS.

B-UMS keeper Hannah Kelley made 10 saves.

The Little Lady Bucs saw their mark drop to 3-3-1.

For the Little Bucs, their game was tied at 1-1 at the half with the B-UMS goal coming from Brant Mills.

The second-half goal belonged to Ayden Travise.

Landon Wright made five saves in net for the Little Bucs.

The Little Bucs dropped to 3-3-1 on the season.

Both teams will be back in action hosting Bridgeport on Thursday.

The Little Lady Bucs will play at 6 p.m. while the Little Bucs will go at 7:30 p.m.
