WELLSBURG – The Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Buc soccer team went 1-2 during a three-game stretch on the road.
Last Saturday, the Lady Bucs suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of George Washington and followed that up with a 3-0 loss to Philip Barbour last Thursday.
They returned to the win column on Saturday with a 3-1 victory over Brooke in Wellsburg.
In the victory over Brooke, the Lady Bucs built a 2-0 lead at the break with goals from Ashley Catlin and Mallory Hughes.
Ava Hollen added a second-half goal for the Lady Bucs to ice the win.
Chloe Cale had two assists in the win.
B-U keeper Kyndal Davis made two saves in the victory.
The action left the Lady Bucs of head coach Bob Greenough with a 9-6-2 record.
They will return to action Tuesday at Bridgeport with a start time of 8 p.m.
