TENNERTON – Buckhannon-Upshur controlled much of the play in their non-conference soccer game with Greenbrier East Saturday afternoon but weren’t able to find the back of the net and settled for a scoreless 0-0 tie.

The Lady Bucs owned a 10-1 lead in shots-on-goal and a 4-1 margin in corner kicks in the stats column.

“Greenbrier East packed it in defensively and did a good job of limiting us,” remarked Buckhannon-Upshur head coach Bob Greenough.

The two teams were slated to play a junior varsity game after the varsity outing but that contest was cancelled.

The tie left the Lady Bucs with a 1-1-2 mark overall.
