Six small businesses from the New River Gorge region displayed their products at the WV Hive booth during Bridge Day October 17 in Fayetteville.

The businesses are clients of the West Virginia Hive, the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority’s entrepreneurial program, according to a release from the authority.

Participants included Heather Sanchez’s Mariposa Hollow in Glen Morgan; sisters Lee Ann Goins and Kathy Mills’ Hinton Outfitters in Hinton; and Jeff and Krystle Adkins’ Kraken Glass N Crafts in Talcott.

Also taking part were Erica Williams’ Sunbeams & Moonshine Creations in Talcott, Alyssa Hosler’s The Wooly Gorge in Oak Hill and George and Sherry Kusner’s Wild & Untamed Things in Alderson.

“The New River Gorge region is home to some incredibly talented and innovated entrepreneurs and Bridge Day gives us a fantastic opportunity to put their businesses in the spotlight,” Executive Director Kelly Vickers said in the authority’s release.
