Sharon Renee McClelland

Reanna Renee Casto is sad to announce the death of her mother, Sharon Renee Mackey McClelland, who died peacefully in the comfort of her arms the morning of August 23, 2019.

The good Lord, who she faithfully loved, took her home after her battle with cancer. Age 56, of Woodstock, Ga., she was born March 11, 1963 in Buckhannon, W.Va.

She joins her cherished mother, Mona Jane Paugh Mackey and her father, Billy Joe Mackey in heaven.

Surviving are three daughters, Reanna Casto, Brandi Martin and Jamie Bailey; six grandchildren, Katie, Alex, Kadence, Ty, Maddox and Andi Paige; one, beloved older brother, Billy Allen Mackey and wife Rita of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a baby sister, Evelyn McCourt and husband Sam of Buckhannon, W.Va. and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sharon was a stellar worker her whole life! Her dedication, organization and cleanliness helped gain her many job titles over the years including retail manager for several stores. Small, but mighty and a force to be reckoned with!

She was strong. Strong physically, strong willed and a fighter for life up to her last days. A true Pisces. Sharon was kind, friendly and had a unique spirit.

A gardener and lover of nature, flowers, birds and especially butterflies. She loved to dance and enjoyed every kind of music. An avid fan of the S.F. 49ers, Tony Stewart and Betty Boop.

She was a true West Virginia girl at heart and returned to our beautiful state of West Virginia during her last journey on this earth. She was one of a kind.

Gone, but never forgotten. May she fly free and rest in peace.

A private memorial service and celebration of life will be arranged with family and friends at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be sent in her memory to the Rosenbaum House of Morgantown: 30 Family House Drive, Morgantown, WV, 26505.

Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
