Santa’s visit to the Land of Inflatables set for Dec. 14 in Buckhannon

The Buckhannon Upshur Retail Merchants and The Baxa Inn are sponsoring a Christmas event for the children and families of Upshur County on Saturday, December 14, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on North Kanawha Street.

Face painters, balloon artists, caricature artists and other local businesses invite you to drop by and meet their friendly owners and staff. They welcome customers year-round, providing excellent customer service.

This year’s event is Santa’s Visit to the Land of Inflatables, featuring multiple lighted inflatable characters recognizable to children of all ages. There will be Santas, elves, The Grinch, snowmen, penguins, bears and Christmas trees ranging from three feet to twelve feet tall. Vendors, crafters, face painters, caricature artists and entertainers will add to the fun. As always, Santa will be there to take pictures and listen to secret Christmas wishes.

Spend time with family, friends and neighbors enjoying the festivities on Saturday, December 14, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on North Kanawha Street in Buckhannon. Come join them!
