Santa to tour Buckhannon streets Thursday afternoon

The City of Buckhannon has exciting news for all of the good boys and girls in Buckhannon! Santa Claus called this morning to let us know he’ll be back in town this afternoon, Thursday, Dec. 23! The big fella will be riding around in a bright red fire engine making noise and spreading Christmas cheer throughout our community.

Starting at 4 p.m., watch and listen for the big ladder truck and come outside to wave at Jolly Ole St. Nick! He’ll be riding around for an hour before heading over to the City Park on Park Street for the tree lighting event at 5 p.m.
