Roy Lee “RJ” Lahman

Roy Lee “RJ” Lahman, age 32, of Rock Cave, WV, died Friday, October 31, 2025, in an ATV accident.

He was born March 4, 1993, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of Leroy M. and Janie M. Jones Lahman of Rock Cave.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by five brothers, Tim Lahman of Arthur, WV, Steve Jones and wife Rosella of Webster Springs, WV, Paul Jones and wife Punkie of Crawford, WV and James Jones and wife Chrissy and Leroy Ray Lahman and wife Annie all of Rock Cave; one sister, Carol Lahman and Dave Duckworth of MD; one brother-in law, Mark Reel of Petersburg, WV; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Adalynn Grace Lahman; one brother, Maxwell Lahman and one great nephew, Braxton Colt.

RJ worked for Hydrocarbon Well Services for several years before becoming a Logger. He was a timber cutter for Red Fern Logging, Watson Logging and Lahman Logging. RJ’s heart was in woods, whether it was cutting timber or hunting. He also loved fishing, boating and spending time with his family.

Friends will be received Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Cecil Williams officiating. In honoring his wishes, RJ will be cremated after the services.
