Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur provides lunch to Upshur County first responders

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — In recognition of the hard work and dedication of the Upshur County first responders, the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur provided lunch to over 230 first responders.

They packed and delivered the boxes to the Public Safety Complex for the Buckhannon Police Department, Upshur County Sheriff Department, City of Buckhannon Fire Department and all volunteer fire stations in the county, Upshur County Health Department, Upshur County Emergency Medical Services, Upshur County 911 Center, West Virginia Wesleyan College Security, West Virginia Department of Natural Resources, and the West Virginia State Police stationed in Upshur County.

“During this difficult time facing our county, state and our country, we want to make sure that our first responders are recognized for their commitment,” said Dan Martin, President of the Rotary Club of Buckhannnon-Upshur. “Our club feels it is important to say a special thank you to all those who keep us safe every day.”
