Roger L. Hibbs, 68, formerly of Buckhannon, passed away Monday, December 2 following a short illness.

He was born May 11, 1951, son of the late Ben and Lovena (Gladwell) Hibbs. Surviving are his daughter Michele (Hibbs) Michael and husband Tim of Buckhannon and three grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters Kathy (Hibbs) Bucklew of Jacksonville, N.C., and Melinda (Hibbs) Hupps and husband Bob of Clarksburg and several nieces and nephews.

He was a 1969 graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School and served in the U.S. Navy.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
