Regional soccer schedule announced; Lady Bucs to play Morgantown Thursday at Brooke

TENNERTON — Sectional champions have qualified for WVSSAC high school soccer regional championship games, which will be played this week throughout West Virginia. Regional winners advance to the state tournament at the YMCA Youth Sports Complex in Beckley. State semifinal matches will be played Thursday, November 2. Championship matches follow on Saturday, November 4.

The Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Bucs and Morgantown will play for the Region I title Thursday at Brooke High School. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m.

Boys Class AAA Regionals (Thursday, October 26, 7 p.m.):

Region I – Morgantown vs. University at Brooke

Region II – Washington at Spring Mills

Region III – George Washington at Woodrow Wilson

Region IV – Huntington vs. Hurricane at Ripley

Girls Class AAA Regionals (Thursday, October 26, 5 p.m.):

Region I – Morgantown vs. Buckhannon-Upshur at Brooke

Region II – Musselman/Hedgesville vs. Jefferson at Spring Mills

Region III – George Washington vs. Greenbrier East at Woodrow Wilson

Region IV – Huntington vs. Parkersburg South at Ripley
