Phay Edward Tenney, II, 71, of Buckhannon, WV, died April 5, 2026, at his home. He worked 27 years at Union Drilling, owned T&T Gun Shop, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Buckhannon.

Steven Wayne Cox, 79, of French Creek, WV, passed away on March 30, 2026, in Markleysburg, PA, due to complications from dementia. He retired after 40 years as a security officer at West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Billy Keith Perrine, 77, of Adrian, passed away at home on April 2, 2026. He was a skilled carpenter known for meticulous craftsmanship and artistic designs, and is survived by his children, siblings, and extended family.

Brian Andrew Moore, 41, of Buckhannon, passed away on April 1, 2026, at home surrounded by family. He was a devoted husband, father, and “Pop Pop,” and enjoyed the outdoors and carpentry.

John William Hitt, Jr., 95, of Weston, WV, died on March 28, 2026, at the White Sulphur Springs Center in White Sulphur Springs, WV. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and tugboat mechanic who loved the outdoors.

Joy Janice Bennett, 91, of Buckhannon, died March 28, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was a member of the Heaston United Methodist Church and is survived by her children and extended family.

Monica Dawn Winemiller, 67, of Buckhannon, died March 26, 2026, at Summersville Healthcare Center in Summersville. She was a retired legal secretary and member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Denise Lynn Karlen, 70, of Buckhannon, West Virginia, passed away on March 18, 2026. She was a Buckhannon-Upshur High School graduate, worked in insurance, and was active in the Tennerton Lions Club and Buckhannon Choral Society.
