Ralph’s Furniture moves to 5-0 in CEC Summer Basketball League play

TENNERTON – Ralph’s Furniture stayed perfect in the CEC Upshur County Summer Basketball League as they moved to 5-0 with a 98-74 win over Jenkins Automotive Thursday at West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Brett Griffith led Ralph’s Furniture with 39 points while DeSean Goode paced Jenkins Automotive with 24 points.

Jenkins Automotive rebounded with a 72-68 win over Blades & Fades as Goode had a game-high 31 points while Carter Williams led Blades & Fades with 20 points.

In the final game Thursday, Power Alley Cross Fit downed Sam’s Pizza by a 47-41 score.

Jonathan Brown scored a game-high 16 points for Power Alley Cross Fit while Jaden Westfall led Sam’s Pizza with nine points.
