Orion Strategies continues expansion efforts in Shenandoah Valley

Kyle Roman

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Orion Strategies, a multi-state strategic communications and public relations firm, continues to expand and add expertise across its service footprint. Accordingly, the firm recently on-boarded a new associate at its Shenandoah Valley office located in Martinsburg, W.Va. As such, Kyle Roman has joined the firm in a permanent role following the completion of the firm’s Competitive Summer Internship Program in 2021.

Since opening a regional office in Martinsburg almost five years ago, Orion Strategies has been able to continue expanding its work serving local, regional, and national clients through its public relations and community outreach campaigns. Roman shall add support for clients through written work, media monitoring, special events planning and advocacy outreach.

Roman graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising, a minor in psychology, and a certificate in business fundamentals. His professional portfolio includes experiences in public relations, digital and event marketing, and client-facing business operations.

Previously, as a Marketing and Promotions Intern with Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, he assisted in coordinating and executing in-game promotional elements for all Penn State NCAA Division I sporting events.

Furthermore, Roman served as a Digital Marketing Intern at Affinity Connection Inc., where he continued honing his skills with social media copywriting and search engine optimization techniques.

Shenandoah Valley Lead Director, Tiffany Lawrence commented on the addition of Roman by stating, “Kyle brings fresh perspective and energy to our team, as well as his prior exposure to our organization gained during his internship. I look for this to enable him to serve our clients with confidence, professionalism, and integrity.”

“There is no better feeling than a homecoming, and that is exactly what coming back to Orion represents,” said Roman. “The growth of this company since my internship is invigorating and I will build on my skills to deliver high quality and efficient results to our clients each and every day.”
