On Point Athletics remains unbeaten in Summer Basketball League

TENNERTON – The Upshur County Summer Basketball League wrapped up Week Two last week with four games and a pair of forfeits.

On Thursday, On Pont Athletics remained unbeaten with a 103-65 win over Blades & Fades.

Ryan Hurst had a game-high 37 points for On Point Athletics, while Darius Dillard led Blades & Fades with 20 points.

In the other game played Thursday, CPImagery defeated AMTC by a 57-53 score with Storm Workman leading CPImagery with 23 points while Ben Riley tallied 17 points for AMTC. In the other scheduled game on Thursday, High Point Construction won by forfeit over The Outpost.

Friday’s opener saw TKS Contracting win by forfeit over AMTC.

Game two was a 98-69 victory for Strategy IT over High Point Construction. Zach Dean led Strategy IT with 26 points while Eddie Prairie had 26 points for High Point Construction.

The final game on Friday was a 68-58 victory for The Outpost over Sam’s Pizza. Tommy Hawkins had 21 points for The Outpost while Ian Strader scored 19 for Sam’s Pizza.

Week three of the league was slated to get underway this past Monday as each weeknight will see three games played.
