No dine-in? No problem. Local restaurants offer apps, online ordering for easy delivery and carry-out

On Tuesday, governor Jim Justice ordered restaurants and bars closed to dine-in traffic to reduce the spread of COVID-19 throughout West Virginia. That does not mean restaurants are closed – they’re still able to offer delivery and takeout services.

Many Upshur County restaurants have taken steps to make it easier than ever to browse their menus and order great food online. The restaurants listed below all offer a combination of phone and online ordering for delivery and/or takeout. Many even have their own smartphone apps.

These businesses help make up the essential character of our little community. They’re open, they’re cooking, they’re sanitizing. They need you now. Their employees need you now. Order a pizza. Pick up a sandwich. Limit social interactions so we can all get through this thing as soon as possible.

Now is the time to show the world our strength as a community and support our local small businesses.
