ELKINS — Jared Miller, the new executive chef at The Railyard Event & Conference Center, is launching holiday meals to go, with Thanksgiving orders due Nov. 18.
The meals come fully cooked for reheating, serve five to 25 people and cost $129 and up, according to a press release from the center. To order, call 304-568-3030. Meals will also be available for Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
“Every dish has a story, every flavor has a purpose, and every meal is an opportunity to create a memory,” Miller said in the release. “I can’t wait to create those memories with the people of Elkins, whether it’s around their holiday table or ours at The Railyard.”
Miller will also lead the Dining Car Series, which begins in January 2027. The monthly dinners will feature his interpretations of cooking from different American regions, using West Virginia ingredients. Tickets are available online.
Miller’s background includes New York roots, Bermudian family cooking influences and training at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Orlando, Florida. He has worked in restaurants and hospital catering and co-founded two catering businesses.
