Nancy Louise Hinchman-Mills

Nancy Louise Hinchman-Mills, age 85, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Holbrook’s Healthcare Center in Buckhannon.

She was born April 26, 1938, in Ivy, WV, a daughter of the late Delbert and Goldie Tenney Miller.

On September 29, 2012, she was united in marriage to Cleston Mills who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Larry Cutlip (Bev) of Buckhannon; one daughter, Darlene Bender (Leon) of Buckhannon; thirteen grandchildren, Charles Butts, Jr, Tonya Butts (Mike), Tiffany Butts, Tabetha Bennett, Larry Cutlip, Jr. (Kayla), Daniel Powell (Keisha), Misty Green (Jamie), Penny Cutlip, Traci Cutlip, Darletta McCray (Danny), Crissy Confere (Jamie), Andrea Lantz (Cyrus), Nikki Hayes (Pete); several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert and John Miller both of Buckhannon; one sister, Lucy Mullins (Stanley) of Buckhannon; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Charles Hinchman; two sons, Delbert Charles Butts and infant son, James Ralph Williams; infant daughter, Frances Bonita Williams and one great granddaughter, Brittany Grace McCray.

Nancy had many jobs throughout her life, one being a Label and Glass Inspector, but her favorite job was babysitting her grandchildren. She was a member of the Modern Homettes CEO’s Club and enjoyed playing the guitar and sewing angel dolls. Nancy enjoyed visiting with family and loved ones. She was a Christian by faith and attended various churches in the community.

Friends will be received Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Hinkleville, WV.
