Mountain CAP to host free workshop for dads in January

Mountain CAP Family Support Center is hosting a free Key Behaviors Workshop for dads and male caregivers on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Buckhannon.

The Mountain CAP Family Support Center will offer a free, one-day workshop for dads on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 30 E. Main St. in Buckhannon.

The 24/7 DAD Key Behaviors Workshop runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and focuses on the key behaviors to being the best dad you can be. All dads and male caregivers are welcome.

The 24/7 DAD Key Behaviors Workshop is a nationally recognized program through the National Fatherhood Initiative designed for any dad who wants to improve his knowledge and skills to help him raise healthy children.

Snacks and lunch will be provided, and participants will receive a gift card upon completion.
