Mon Hills Music Group signs alternative band Sample Text

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Mon Hills Music Group signed Sample Text as their newest alternative band on Feb. 16, according to a press release from Mon Hills Records.

Sample Text will release two singles with Mon Hills Records.

“We’re really excited to work with Mon Hills Music Group. As a band, we’re extremely confident that we’ll be able to make something to be proud of with their team,” Sample Text said.

Sample Text is an alternative local garage band influenced by energetic indie-rock newcomers. The band’s members — Noi Alfgeirsson, Matt Bellisario, Gabe Flanagan, Ian Gunno and Ave Stimeling — are current West Virginia University students involved in organizations including the Student Government Association and The Pride of West Virginia.

Sample Text began as a high school band at Morgantown High and continues its career as a group while at WVU.

Mon Hills Music Group’s Artist and Repertoire department is constantly looking for new artists and bands to sign. The organization aims to help artists and bands become well-established.
