Mon Health Stonewall Primary Care welcomes Rachel Hefner, NP-C to Primary Care Team

WESTON, W.Va. – Mon Health Stonewall Primary Care is pleased to announce the addition of Rachel Hefner, Certified Nurse Practitioner, to its Market Place Mall location. She will be providing services along with Dr. Larissa Fordyce-Richards.

Hefner received her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Drexel University and her undergraduate nursing degree from George Mason University. She was active duty in the United State Navy from 2003 to 2012 and in the Reserves until 2018. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Hefner has an Emergency Room background which will complement the walk-in clinic at Market Place Mall. She will be administering vaccinations, conducting dermatology procedures, and managing chronic care for individuals with hypertension or diabetes.

“I am originally from upstate New York, but my husband is from Lewis County. We decided to move here by so that we could be closer to his family. I really look forward to raising our children here and more importantly working with the staff at the Primary Care office at Market Place Mall,” she said. “The small office atmosphere is conducive for a friendly workplace.”

Hefner is joining the Mon Health Stonewall Primary Care team starting September 1 at 456 Market Place Mall, Weston, WV 26452.
