Margaret Agatha (Bull) Fetty passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, under the compassionate care of the staffs of Serenity Care Home and West Virginia Hospice. She was born in Weston on April 17, 1939, a daughter of the late Opha and Susie (Alkire) Bull of Walkersville. She married the only man she ever dated, John N. Fetty, Sr. on July 16, 1961. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2018.

Margaret is survived by two children: a daughter, Annette Santilli and husband, Sam, of Philippi, and a son, John Fetty, Jr and wife, Karen, of Flemington. She is also survived by four grandchildren: John III (JT) Fetty and wife, Hannah, of Vicenza, Italy, Tyler Fetty of Flemington, Stephanie Santilli of Philippi, and Isaac Fetty of Buckhannon.

Also surviving are a brother, Dr. James Bull and wife, Janie, of Brandon, FL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a younger son, Jim Fetty; and a sister, Patty Adams.

She was Salutatorian for the Class of 1957 from Walkersville High School and attended West Virginia Business College. Margaret worked in the Harrison County Extension Office where she met John. Together, they started Fetty’s Repair Service in 1978, which is run currently by John Jr.

Her main priority in life was taking care of her husband and her family. Margaret was leader of the Tennerton Teamworkers 4-H Club for 25 years and was a 4-H All Star. She also served as Sunday school teacher at the Ireland United Methodist Church.

Margaret loved watching the WVU Mountaineers Basketball teams. She collected Longaberger baskets, bells, strawberries, and Hallmark ornaments. Margaret enjoyed decorating Christmas trees and always had many Christmas trees around her home. She also enjoyed entering the Strawberry Festival Recipe Contest each year.
