Mancle Dean Cutlip

Mancle Dean Cutlip, 61, of French Creek passed away at his residence surrounded by loving family and under the compassionate care of WVU Medicine Hospice on Monday, October 7, 2019.

He was born in Charleston on January 30, 1958, a son of the late Edward Paul and Orlena Mae Dotson Cutlip. Also preceding Mancle in death was one brother, Ralph Dale Cutlip.

Mancle was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an alumnus of Marshall University and spent 15 years as a crane operator for Baker Hughes. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in nature walking his dogs Jasper and Cocoa. Mancle was always passionate about history, politics and football. He especially loved West Virginia Mountaineer football.

Left to cherish Mancle’s memories are his loving wife of 41 years, Brenda Beckner Cutlip; two children: Robert Cutlip of Buckhannon and April Cutlip of French Creek; three grandchildren: Donovan and Reghan Cutlip of Buckhannon and Aric Thompson of French Creek; four sisters: Rachel Robinson and husband, Bill, of Kesling Mill, Candy Hinchman of French Creek, Cindy Powers and husband, Donald, of Camden, Ariz., and Ovella Godfrey of Buckhannon; and two brothers: David Cutlip and wife, Joan, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Ira Cutlip of Wheeling, W.Va..

Mancle’s request for cremation has been honored and there will be no services.
