Madaline Jewel Taylor

Madaline Jewel Taylor, 93, of Buckhannon, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at the Crestview Manor in Jane Lew. 

She was born on December 4, 1926, at Alexander, a daughter of the late Joseph Harvey and Ella Mae Channel Bunner. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband William James Taylor; one sister; two brothers; and one niece Jean. 

She is survived by three nieces:  Connie and husband David Cottrill of Jane Lew, Pauline Woody of Florida, and Sue and husband Donald Tallman of Tallmansville; one nephew Julian Cutright and wife Debbie of Texas; two great nieces:  Melanie and husband Todd St. Clair of Buckhannon and Shanna and husband Gary Morrison of Flatwoods; and several other nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Taylor spent most of her career as a practical nurse. She enjoyed visiting the Senior Center, especially for Bingo, and collecting antiques. She also dearly loved her cats.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020, at noon, at the Pleasant Dale Cemetery, where interment will follow.
