Louise June Gould

Louise June Gould, 81, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Saturday, February 8, 2020, at her home.

She was born January 16, 1939 in Upshur County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Everett J. and Leona Hester Harlow Lane.

On January 3, 1956, she married Pat R. Gould who preceded her in death on May 14, 2010. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon and Joseph J. Lane and one infant brother, William R. Lane.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. Perrine and husband Jacky N. of Buckhannon; two sons, Pat Richard Gould, Jr., and wife Sandi of Webster, Fla. and Ralph Everett Gould and companion Mary Cosner of Buckhannon; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Stanley J. Lane of Buckhannon and her beloved cats, Buzz and Pest and dog, Snoopy.

Mrs. Gould was a Methodist by Faith. She was the manager at Farm Fresh for many years before transferring to Walmart where she enjoyed working in the garden department. She loved her flower beds and enjoyed gardening.

Mrs. Gould was an avid bingo player at the V.F.W. She enjoyed looking into family history, genealogy and attending family events.

Friends will be received Wednesday, February 12, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Veterans Cemetery in Buckhannon.
