Loretta Lee Queen

Loretta Lee Queen, 76, of Buckhannon, W.Va. died Friday, September 4, 2020, at Serenity Care Home in Buckhannon.

She was born September 2, 1944, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Donnel Junior and Angolia Pearl Smith Woody.

On November 10, 1984, she married Randall David Queen who preceded her in death on September 15, 2015. In addition to her parents and loving husband she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Wilda Woody.

She is survived by one daughter, Carla Campbell of French Creek, W.Va.; one step son, David Queen and wife Dee of Williamstown, W.Va.; one step grandson, Kage Queen and wife Kelsey of Middletown, Del.; one step granddaughter, Mahkayla Streeter and husband Brandon of San Antonio, Texas; one half-sister, Kathy Andreas and husband Larry of Surfside Beach, S.C.; one half-brother, Delmas Woody and wife Donna of Buckhannon; one step great grandson, Jameson Queen of Middletown and one niece, Jessica Posey and husband Jamie of Morgantown, W.Va.

Mrs. Queen attended and played piano at the South Buckhannon Mission Church and retired from the DHHR after 40 years of service.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 8, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Buckhannon Mission Church. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
