Lois Lucille Oldaker

Lois Lucille Oldaker, 86, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 at Serenity Care Home in Buckhannon.

She was born July 31, 1932 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Russell L. and Monta Blanche Waugaman Westfall.

On Jan. 31, 1959 she married William B. Oldaker who preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 2001.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Lynn E. Westfall.

She is survived by two sons, Bradley R. Oldaker of Weston, W.Va. and Phillip William Oldaker of Morgantown, W.Va.; one daughter, Lisa Michelle Oldaker-Palmer of North Grafton, Mass.; three grandsons, Alexander William and Benjamin Bradley Oldaker both of Weston and Ian Bruce Palmer of North Grafton and one granddaughter, Kara Elizabeth Westfall Palmer of North Grafton.

Mrs. Oldaker graduated from Buckhannon-Upshur High School in 1950 and West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1954. She was an English/Speech Teacher for the Buckhannon-Upshur High School from 1955-1959, a teacher in Montgomery County, Md. from 1959-1962, a substitute school teacher for Upshur County Schools from 1977-1984 and an English Teacher for Buckhannon-Upshur High School from 1984-1998.

Mrs. Oldaker was a former member of the Upshur County Association of Retired School Employees and the West Virginia Association of Retired School Employees.

A private service will be held for the family.
